We are aware of the changes occurring within our environment, and the attention that businesses (and individuals) need to give to conserving resources and limiting waste. With these goals in mind, all seven DeSouza Brown owned and operated properties released their July e-Newsletter’s to their residents last week. Previously, newsletters were printed by a third party source and shipped to the individual properties, where they were hand delivered to each resident’s door by our on-site staff members. That’s over 2,000 doors! Now, through our resident services online system (which also allows residents to notify maintenance of service needed in their home, pay their rent electronically, and view any day-to-day updates from management), we are able to email all residents with the click of a button. The contents of the e-Newsletters are well rounded: everything from notifications of upcoming scheduled maintenance – – to photos from a recent contest – – to an announcement of an upcoming event – – to fun and informative tips for vacationing, starting a patio garden, or organizing your bills. Each month’s e-Newsletter features two or three local businesses, as local referrals are very important to us. Residents can submit business requests if they have a favorite power lunch restaurant, top notch insurance agent, or even if they are a business owner themselves and would like their company featured!
